The fruit of Euphorbia tuberosa are three-segmented, globose capsules, sparsely covered in soft, whitish hairs. They grow in a cluster on long, sturdy stalks, presented on leaf-like bracts positioned opposite each other. The bracts are rounded with obtusely pointed tips. The styles remain persistent on top of the fruit, at least at this early stage.

The fruits grow on female plants, the species being dioecious (Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
