    Lobostemon glaucophyllus, in Afrikaans known as the blosblaar luibos (flush leaf lazy bush), grows erectly in a loose habit. It does not resprout after fire.

    The reddish colour usually found on the young stems is not in evidence on the plant in picture. Old stems below lose their leaves, becoming grey and woody.

    The leathery leaves ascend on the stems and tend to curve in (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
