Euphorbia grandidens grows light green upper stems that in groups form a wine glass shape at the tip of every main branch. The plant holds attraction for gardeners. Those living in warm enough regions can grow it. Expect marginal regions to become warm enough if the world-wide trend cannot be curbed.

The paired stem-ridge spines are small and hard. The greenish yellow cyathia appear at stem-tips on the winged ridges in spring (Smith, et al, 2017; Coates Palgrave, 2002; iNaturalist).
