The fragrant, nodding flowers of Albuca cooperi are well spaced on long, thin, ascending stalks in a lax raceme. Broad greenish bands, quite faint and uneven on the flowers seen here, are usually present in the centre of especially the outer three tepals. Perianths become from 1,5 cm to 2,5 cm long. The six thick-textured, pale yellow and green tepals are ovate. The outer tepals have pointed, ridged tips turning in, the inner ones ending in hinged fleshy tips.

Narrow papery bracts, brown, shrivelled and clasping the pedicels at the base are visible in the photo.

Flowering comes late in winter through spring (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2009; iNaturalist; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
