Anacampseros arachnoides numerous leaves

Anacampseros arachnoides is a tiny succulent perennial with white, pink or purple flowers. The Greek word anakampto means to recover and eros means love. The generic name is derived from a belief that touching an Anacampseros plant will serve to recover lost love.

The branched stems are densely covered in leaves. They are are thickly succulent, green to purplish, finely hairy with small spines on the leaf tips.

A flowering stem may bear three to five flowers with elliptic, pointed petals. Flowers only open for one afternoon; these plants self-fertilise. Seeds are wind dispersed (iNaturalist; Wikipedia; www.ebay.com).
