Agathosma roodebergensis, commonly in Afrikaans rooibergboegoe (Rooiberg buchu or red mountain buchu), is a single-stemmed shrub that reaches heights around 1 m.
The range-restricted species is found in the south of the Western Cape from the Rooiberg and the Gamka to the Outeniqua Mountains.
The habitat is upper and middle sandstone slopes where the plants grow in rocky, mountainous terrain among fynbos. The species is not considered to be threatened in its habitat early in the twenty first century (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
