The herb-scented, oval leaves of Agathosma riversdalensis grow spiralling or scattered along the erect stems. They are wider spaced lower down in the parts where the old, woody stems may become bare, having lost them.
The leaves are short-stalked, ovate in shape with pointed tips. They may be flat, concave or convex on top, becoming about 3 mm long.
The leaf midrib is prominent on the paler green, lower surface, between the rolled-under margins (Manning, 2007; Mustart, et al, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
