This Adromischus filicaulis subsp. marlothii plant was seen in the Biedouw Valley, succeeding in an elevated rock crevice. The flowers were long gone by October, the leftovers sitting here probably since last summer.
Not much branching has developed on this plant yet, its site allocation imposing limits to development. Next year’s photo may reveal progress, if it is ever taken (Smith, et al, 2017; iNaturalist).
