These Cyphia digitata flowers were seen in the Biedouw Valley during September.
On the inside the corolla is white with only three short markings at the bases of the three erect, upper lobes. Pale mauve to blue as well as some white colouring is present on the outside surfaces of the slightly bent corolla tubes.
The corollas angle slightly down from short sepals, their hairy pedicels are angled up. The narrow sepal lobes attenuate to long, acutely pointed tips like claws (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
