Cyphia crenata leaves

Cyphia crenata leaves are long and narrow, lanceolate to triangular, often erect on the plant. There are often a couple of narrow lobes protruding sideways from the base of the leaf. Leaf margins are sparsely toothed, the teeth small, sometimes rounded.

The soft, dark green blades that become up to 3 cm long are finely and sparsely hairy. A leaf may gain company from a tuft of smaller leaflets growing from its axil (Manning, 2007; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iSpot).
