    The flowers of Cyphia stenopetala resemble those of Lobelia, another genus within their family of Campanulaceae. Racemes of these delicate white flowers can be seen from spring to autumn. There are three narrow white, lilac or pale pink lobes in the upper part of the corolla and two below (Fabian and Germishuizen, 1982).

    This plant was photographed in May at the foot of the Magaliesberg near Hekpoort.
