Crinum paludosum inflorescence

The inflorescence of Crinum paludosum consists of four to eleven flowers on an erect or nearly erect peduncle or scape, from 15 cm to 55 cm long. Up to three inflorescences may be produced in a season from one bulb.

The two spathe bracts at the top of the scape that initially covered the buds are lance-shaped. They are up to 8 cm long and initially translucent white, later brownish and papery.

The pedicels are erect on the buds, curved on the open flowers (Duncan, et al, 2016; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
