The about six to twelve leaves of a Crinum paludosum plant are broadly strap-shaped, spiralling annually from the bulb, concurrently with the flowers. The leaves ascend and spread, arching in their upper parts.
The flat upper surfaces of the leaves are glossy and bright green, the blades soft. The thinly cartilaginous leaf margins are finely toothed and sometimes wavy. Leaf dimensions are from 30 cm to 50 cm long and from 4 cm to 5 cm wide (Duncan, et al, 2016; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
