The inflorescence of Cyrtanthus epiphyticus comprises six to fifteen flowers grown at the tip of a hollow scape shorter than the leaves. When the flowers are open, the two narrow bracts at the top of the scape are dry, papery and pale brown. These bracts earlier covered and thereby protected the buds. They are about 3,5 cm long.

The more or less pendulous flowers have long and narrow tubes. The corolla tubes curve down on stiff, flower-coloured to purplish pedicels, about 2 cm long. The tubes usually have slight bulges visible at the base where the ovaries are situated. The flower colours vary from red to orange. Six small, rounded to pointed tepal lobes spread invitingly at the perianth mouths. The lobes are up to 7 mm long and equally wide.

    Flowering happens in spring.

The ellipsoid fruit capsule is up to 2 cm long and 1 cm wide (Duncan, et al, 2016; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
