    The long, curving Cyrtanthus leucanthus flowers grow solitary or in groups of up to three at the tip of a long, hollow scape. The flowers are cream to white and fragrant.

    The narrow, funnel-shaped perianth becomes about 4 cm long. Six thickish, yellow-brown anthers are well within the flower tube, the white style above them longer than the stamens but still not exserted.

    Flowering happens from midsummer to early autumn (Bean and Johns, 2005; Mustart, et al, 1997).
