Crassula alpestris subsp. massonii inflorescence upper part

The flowers of Crassula alpestris subsp. massonii grow in dense, umbel-shaped clusters, terminally as well as from all upper leaf axils. In picture this results in an almost continuous inflorescence.

The white, sometimes cream and even pinkish flowers are sweetly scented. They resemble five-pointed stars in typical Crassula style. The corolla tube ends in a small mouth. The petal lobes radiate outwards slightly asymmetrically to a diameter of about 5 mm.

The stamens are visibly exserted from only a few flowers in picture (Frandsen, 2017; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
