Some Crassula pyramidalis flowers, like this one, have unusually wide petals that overlap slightly with lateral margins that curve in.

The insides of the open petals are white or nearly so. The corolla outsides as visible in the cylindrical buds, soon to open, are duller white to faintly cream, while the short, fleshy sepals low down around the corolla bases are dull cream to greenish cream.

The open flowers are scattered across the head among the buds, the couple of oldest flowers with browned petal tips positioned to the outside.

No stamens or styles are exserted from the small, round corolla mouths (Frandsen, 2017; Smith, et al, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Moriarty, 1997; iNaturalist).
