Crassula streyi, commonly the Pondoland crassula and in Afrikaans the kransplakkie (little crag slab), is a perennial leaf succulent that branches, sometimes reclines and spreads a bit, reaching up to 35 cm in height.

The plant is endemic to a restricted distribution near Port St. Johns in the Eastern Cape to southern KwaZulu-Natal.

The habitat is coastal forest and sourveld, usually on sandstone cliffs near rivers, often in shady places. The species is rare, ensconced in inaccessible terrain. Its population is considered stable in habitat early in the twenty first century.

This Crassula, like so many others in the genus, is easy to grow from small stem cuttings and well-known in horticulture (Van Jaarsveld, et al, 2000; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; www.plantzafrica.com; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
