Crassula perforata inflorescence

The flowers of Crassula perforata are creamy white and small, about 3 mm in length. The lax inflorescence has its flower clusters well spaced up the stem.

Flowering happens in summer. This young garden specimen was photographed in midsummer with only the dry stalk and withered flowers remaining. Still, the stalk remains standing, tall and erect until after the seeds are dispersed (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
