Othonna coronopifolia bushes may be compact with leaves crowded at the upper stems, particularly on plants growing near the coast.
This sparse Kagga Kamma plant has elongated, well-spaced branches, wand-like with long internodes between leaves or leaf clusters. The smooth stems are pale grey to reddish (Manning 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; JSTOR).
