Leaf midribs, purple on this Othonna parviflora plant, are thick and dominant near the base. They gradually become inconspicuous towards the tips, as do the ascending, parallel lateral veins.
Leaf margins may also be slightly purple when not yellowish or blue-green. In picture the margins have small pointed teeth, irregular in size and spacing (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010; Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
