White Orthochilus leontoglossus flowers as seen here are quite common, not quite on a par in numbers with the yellow ones. A faint pinkish tinge is present on upper flowers in the pictured inflorescence, ivory on the lower, older ones.

The mainly pendent flowers have erect bracts, small and green-pointed, while a larger stem leaf of similar shape as the bracts is present below the flowers.

One doesn’t find this species in many plant books under its new name yet, the old Eulophia leontoglossa still being commonly used. The taxonomic change only happened in 2014 when 34 Eulophia species were moved into the resurrected Orthochilus genus. It is possible, however, that something new has happened to this plant name subsequently, a possible reversion to the old one. Don't sigh, wait and fix, or the old books are right again (Pooley, 1998; Lowrey and Wright, 1987; iNaturalist; Wikipedia).
