Microloma namaquense leaves

The simple, opposite leaves of Microloma namaquense are mainly ascending, narrow to thread-like, leathery and scattered upon the stems.

The upper surfaces are darker green than the lower ones, coarse and faintly hairy with conspicuous sunken midribs; the lower surfaces have short, soft, whitish hairs, the midribs prominent. The margins are entire and strongly rolled under. The leaves are from 1 cm to 3,5 cm long (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; Eliovson, 1990).
