The Oedera sedifolia ray florets appear narrower, longitudinally folded along their surface channels when still erect, recently freed from the bud stage.
The leaves reach up to the flowerhead bases, their peduncles, when present, not longer than 3 mm.
The alternate, simple leaves are thickish and oblong to nearly terete with blunt tips, in picture yellowish. There are usually short, sharp, protrusions at the tips. The leaf surfaces are coarse with pitted glands and hairy when young. The leaves ascend or spread, their tips sometimes curving in (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
