The three conspicuous Moraea nana anthers curve in strongly in the upper parts of their oblong bodies. Their yellow surfaces are granular with pollen.
The tepal midribs are rigid near the base, the blades sagging to the sides. The tepal tips curve up, their lateral lobes curving in (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
