    Oxalis punctata may produce pink or lilac flowers in paler more than deeper shades, apart from the often white ones. The throat is pale yellow, sometimes brownish and sometimes dark lined.

    This is a comparatively small plant as sorrels go.

    The punctata name cannot be figured from a photo like this. The bulbs of these plants have pitted or pricked surfaces, hence the specific name, which is from Latin, meaning dotted (Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; iNaturalist).
