This Pelargonium crithmifolium flower bears plant-like purple markings on white stems at the base of the upper pair of petals. The lower three plain white oblong petals are slightly smaller than their erect mates, all spreading as a platform for the benefit of the vital pieces.

Some of the ridged, oblong anthers are brown, others purple, diverging slightly on fleshy white filaments. There’s a style and stigma somewhere in the gathering, ready for the reproduction banquet with pollinators (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist; https://www.llifle.com).
