Pelargonium luridum buds up or down?

Are the Pelargonium luridum buds inclined to be up or down in their umbel? No clear answer is obtained from the inflorescences in this photo, as one umbel has several buds hanging while its open flowers are up, another has it the other way round, and some are mixed (Pooley, et al, 2005; Manning, 2009; Germishuizen and Clarke, 2003; Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist).
