    A Pelargonium patulum flower measures about 2,5 cm in diameter. The floral tube becomes up to 2 cm long. The umbel-like flower clusters are small, usually comprising only two or three flowers each.

    The older flower on the right is whiter; the pink, younger one on the left still has its style with five stigma branches intact.

    Some sepals, short and much thicker textured than the petals, are positioned just behind the petal bases (Manning, 2007; iSpot).
