    These stem-tip Pegolettia baccaridifolia leaves show their unevenly spaced, pointed marginal teeth around the fleshy blades. The large surface cells, sometimes darker green than surrounding parts are variable in visibility upon the blades that may be slightly wavy or fold in along their midribs.

    Venation other than the occasional midrib is obscure (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist).
