It is market day at this fresh produce mall out in the Swaziland grassland! Insects of various races, including baridine weevils, ants and even a fly of sorts, are collecting food. They’re all at peace with each other on the white tiled floors of this Pachycarpus scaber public facility. The way they build convenience stores these days for easy access is just marvellous!

When this marketing shoot was done in November it is still a bit early for Christmas shopping. But provisions have to be collected on a regular basis to feed the family, no matter what its structure or style.

The rough surfaces on the spreading corolla lobes prevent customers from slipping and causing accidents that might bring unwanted litigation. The decorative curves of the corona lobes, forming accessible arty cages over the merchandise, will please most housewives enough for return visits. So will the honey scent exuded over the premises for the benefit of all.

Note that there are no tills here. A great saving to do business without employing floor staff! Everybody loading product just collects some pollen as well for depositing at suitable destinations without giving the chore a thought.

This concludes a multitude of mutually satisfactory transactions every day, as long as stocks last. The benefits of a civilised society are truly legion (Manning, 2009; iSpot).
