Ruschia goodiae, in Namaqualand known as t’nouroe in the local vernacular, is a densely branched shrublet reaching 20 cm in height. The base is woody, the stems erect or prostrate, tend to retain old leaf remains.
The species distribution is in the Northern Cape, in the Namaqua Klipkoppe and the Sandveld coastal plain.
The plants grow exposed on sandy flats and slopes. The species is not considered threatened in habitat early in the twenty first century (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Smith, et al, 1998; Herre, 1971; iNaturalist; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
