One last white flower of Wahlenbergia pulvillus-gigantis is blooming here amidst some drooping green ovaries turning into fruits on red pedicels, some faded petals still attached.

The delicate outwardly curving petals of the intact corolla are narrow, tapering to acutely pointed tips. There are purple, longitudinal lines down their centres inside the narrow corolla tube. Several of the admired Wahlenbergia flowers have wider petals. The white three-lobed stigma is also visible in the flower throat. Stamens are attached to the petals at the base.
