Tritoniopsis lata flowers

A two-lipped Tritoniopsis lata corolla has a dorsal tepal larger than the others and slightly hooded. There are white and dark markings in the midsections of the tepals of the lower lip. 

The three stamens of each flower are visible in the photo, arched below the dorsal tepal. The oblong anthers are narrow and here pale grey. The three-branched style is positioned above the stamens and slightly longer than them.

Pale green, pointed bracts hold the bases of the open flowers, still enveloping the upper buds in the spike almost completely (Marais, (Ed.), 2017; Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
