    The Tritonia undulata inflorescence is a sometimes branched, one-sided spike borne horizontally. Short, green and brown-tipped bracts are present at the base of each flower and bud.

    Flowering happens from before midspring until early summer, best after fire. The photo was taken during October (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
