The laterally symmetrical flower of Tritonia undulata has a long, narrow tubular base, the tube from 3 cm to 7 cm long. The six pale cream, round-tipped tepal lobes end in a wide funnel-shape. There are elliptic, purple-pink markings with white central lines in the base of each of the lower three tepals, ending in prolonged purple lines.

The anthers are black in the flower centre in picture, the three style branches white and thread-like above them (Manning, 2007; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
