    Brabejum stellatifolium stem-tip leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti

The six leaves of this Brabejum stellatifolium stem-tip manage dashing curves at the base into their short petioles that are whitish in this case.

Leaf colour in the upper ring is lighter and brighter than the dark green second tier on the stem that lacks the gloss. Marginal teeth are only present in less than the upper third of each leaf in the case of this photo; the teeth notably pointy (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
