    The few long Bulbinella cauda-felis leaves are deep green and grass-like, growing from the base with the flower stem. They are narrow and channelled, in picture smooth and shiny. The outer leaves are wider and longer than the inner ones in this species. A big leaf may be up to 50 cm long and 0,9 cm wide, sometimes with finely toothed margins.

    This plant tends to form clumps (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; iNaturalist).
