The Bulbinella nutans plant, or by now group of plants growing from bulbs that seem to have split, bear their flowers at the tips of long, curving scapes, way above the out-curving leaves.

The tips of the racemes have some buds still, but the brown colour suggests that conditions and the workload may have depleted resources so that some of them won’t open as the few green ones will probably do (Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
