    Bulbine praemorsa flowers grow in a lax raceme that may be 30 cm long. Flowers grow on long pedicels that have tiny bracts at the base. The flower stalks that are pale brownish here are often green.

    Once the ovoid fruits have formed, they are held erectly on straight pedicels, while those upon which the fruits had failed curve down. Flowering occurs in winter and early spring (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; www.pacificbulbsociety.org).
