This Drosanthemum schoenlandianum flower looks like a farmyard rooster that had recently lost a close fight for position in the local pecking order.
Apart from the white petals in picture some plants may also produce cream- to lemon-coloured ones. The loose bunch of stamens (and possibly staminodes) in the flower centre in picture seem to be adding the non-white floral options. The tiny oblong anthers are about white, not present on all the off-white filaments. The flower diameter is about 2,5 cm (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Smith, et al, 1998; Herre, 1971; iNaturalist).
