    The leaves of Disa intermedia overlap upon the stem and decrease up it (cauline). The leaves grade further into the floral bracts subtending the flowers. Leaf shape is narrowly lanceolate. The leaf surfaces are shiny green above, paler below and hairless (www.sntc.org.sz; www.sntc.org.sz).
