On this Disa intermedia flower the purple-pink blotches are large and conspicuous. The lateral sepals and lip hang together like washing in the wind, not nearly as neatly arranged as on some other disas. A distinct line separates the green and died off parts of the bracts around the ovaries (www.sntc.org.sz; www.sntc.org.sz).
