At this angle the Disa hallackii flower shows its three sepals as the dominant floral parts (in size). The lateral pair of sepals spread and curve in, wider towards their tips that form nipple-like protrusions. The inner surfaces of the sepals are white, the outer surfaces green, apart from the front part of the hood at the top, the helmet-shaped median sepal that is blue and white in picture.
The green spur is just visible behind this median sepal, protruding backwards from the flower, not quite pointing to the stem (Liltved and Johnson, 2012; Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; iNaturalist).
