Delosperma lavisiae seen in Lesotho

The pale-coloured fruit capsules of Delosperma lavisiae in picture have five locules. There are valve wings but no closing bodies and usually no covering membranes present in Delosperma.

The sharply angled leaves are not all laterally symmetrical. Up to four pairs of the short, thickly succulent, decussate leaves are present on the stems in picture (Smith, et al, 1998; iNaturalist).
