Crassula obtusa is on the verge between a dwarf shrublet and a straggly perennial; the basal woody parts limited.

Flowering white or creamy at the tips of tubular flowers, the creamy or greenish cream is mostly associated with the outside of the corolla tubes, the petal tip insides about white and spreading. There is faint yellow or cream visible inside the corolla mouth.

This is a Crassula that should do well in horticulture. Found in the Little Karoo and on Table Mountain, among other places, the flowers are notable (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Manning, 2007; Bean and Johns, 2005; iNaturalist).
