The thickly succulent leaves of these Adromischus triflorus plants show their yellowish horn-like ridges along the broad leaf tops. There appears to be some variable speckling along the leaf surfaces, which may also be the onset of dark lichen settling upon them.

The eight Adromischus species found in the Little Karoo are popular with those gardeners inclined towards the succulent options. One leaf is often enough to start a plant in a pot (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
