Arctotis auriculata is one of the flowering plants on display at the Naries Namakwa Retreat near the Spektakelberg between Springbok and Kleinzee.

Spreading and sprawling in the sandy soil, it adds an ample yellow (or orange) contribution to the Namaqualand spring flower festival. Velvety, narrow leaves and large, solitary flowerheads characterise the plant.

There is more on this species in the Arctotis Album under Genera (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
