Ursinia anethoides grows in the far south of South Africa, here doing well on bare, stony soil in the Langkloof. The perennial herb is usually short-lived.
Thin dark red peduncles carry the flowerheads above the densely leaved, erect stems.
The flowerheads are here yellow inside as well as on the outside of the ray florets. This plant was seen during May (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; Gledhill, 1981; iNaturalist).
