    The scrambling and climbing branches of Pelargonium peltatum can’t be seen everywhere in this vegetation but follow the leaves to trace them. What also can't be seen here are the red or purplish zonal markings often present upon the leaves of this Pelargonium. Like car indicator lights, one sees them sometimes.

    Well established in Kouga bushes, this plant wasn’t flowering for the camera. This was an April visit, long after the plant’s blooming season (Euston-Brown and Kruger, 2023; Curtis-Scott, et al, 2020; iNaturalist; https://pza.sanbi.org).
